Polish-German Borderland In Figures 2024
The purpose of this publication is to compare the social and economic potential of the neighbouring cross-border regions of:
- Poland – the voivodeships of Lubuskie, West Pomeranian, and Lower Silesian;
- Germany – the federal states (Länder) of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania, and Saxony.
The publication contains a wide range of information on, among other topics, the demographic situation, the labour market, transport, and gross domestic product (GDP).
Comparisons are facilitated by the indicators presented in the tabular section of the publication (ranking of Polish voivodeships and ranking of German federal states), as well as by graphical presentations in the form of maps and charts.
