Information on Personal Data Processing

Information from the Director of the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra regarding GDPR

CLAUSE:

In connection with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), the Director of the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra informs you about the rules and your rights related to the processing of your personal data.

  1. Identification of the controller - The controller of your personal data is the Director of the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra, with its registered seat in Zielona Góra (65-954 Zielona Góra), ul. Spokojna 1 – hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”;
  2. Purposes and legal basis for processing personal data: The Controller processes your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) and (e) of the GDPR for the purpose of fulfilling orders for statistical data, responding to inquiries, and providing other information services, including newsletter subscriptions;

Your personal data will also be used to perform tasks resulting from the Act of 29 June 1995 on Official Statistics (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 649, as amended).

  1. Obligation to provide personal data: Processing of your personal data is necessary to fulfil submitted orders for statistical data, respond to inquiries, provide information services, and manage newsletter subscriptions.

Where personal data are obtained directly from you, providing them is voluntary.

  1. Recipients of personal data: Your personal data will not be shared with any other recipients. They may be disclosed only to authorities authorized under legal provisions.
  2. Retention period: Your personal data will be processed for as long as there are legal grounds for their processing, from the date of submitting an inquiry, order, application, or other information request, including newsletter subscription, or until you withdraw or limit your consent to data processing.
  3. Profiling and automated decision-making: Your personal data will not be subject to profiling or automated decision-making.
  4. Rights of the data subject: the right of access to personal data, including the right to obtain a copy of such data; the right to request rectification (correction) of personal data where the data are inaccurate or incomplete; the right to request erasure of personal data; the right to request restriction of processing of personal data; the right to data portability; the right to object to the processing of personal data, including profiling; the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data; and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  5. Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or international organisations: Your personal data will not be transferred outside the EEA or to international organizations.
