Educational Offer
The Statistical Office in Zielona Góra conducts educational activities aimed at promoting knowledge about official statistics and developing skills in using statistical data. We show how data help us better understand the world around us and make informed decisions.
Our offer is addressed to children and young people, students, teachers, public administration employees, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and all those interested in the practical use of statistical data.
As part of our educational offer, we organize:
- statistical lessons and workshops for primary and secondary school students,
- classes for university students and meetings with the academic community,
- training sessions and seminars on the use of statistical data and information resources of official statistics,
- presentations on selected social, economic, and demographic issues,
- meetings promoting survey research and the importance of participation in statistical surveys,
- competitions, educational games, and events promoting statistics,
- classes tailored to the needs of specific target groups.
Why is it worth it?
Participants in our activities learn about sources of statistical data, develop skills in interpreting them, and gain practical abilities in searching for and using statistical information. We show that statistics are not just numbers, but above all a tool that helps better understand society, the economy, and changes taking place in our environment.
Would you like to organize classes?
We invite kindergartens, schools, universities, public institutions, and organizations interested in statistics and data. We are happy to prepare activities tailored to participants’ needs.
