Image recording in the video surveillance system

INFORMATION ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING – VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

In connection with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”), the Director of the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra informs you about the rules and your rights related to the processing of your personal data.

  1. Identification of the controller - The controller of your personal data is the Director of the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra, with its registered seat in Zielona Góra (65-954 Zielona Góra), ul. Spokojna 1 – hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”.
  2. Purposes and legal basis for processing personal data: The Controller processes your personal data in connection with Article 222 of the Act of 26 June 1974 – Labour Code (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1040, as amended) and Article 5a of the Act of 16 December 2016 on the Principles of State Property Management (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1302), for the purpose of ensuring the safety of persons within the monitored area, protecting property, and safeguarding confidential information whose disclosure could expose the Controller to damage.
  3. Recipients of personal data: Your personal data will not be disclosed to any recipients, subject to the provisions of point VIII.
  4. Retention period: Your personal data will be processed until overwritten (depending on the size of recordings), for a maximum period of 60 days, or until the final conclusion of legal proceedings conducted on the basis of law.
  5. Profiling and automated decision-making: Your personal data will not be subject to profiling or automated decision-making.
  6. Rights of the data subject: the right of access to personal data, including the right to obtain a copy of such data; the right to request rectification (correction) of personal data where the data are inaccurate or incomplete; the right to request erasure of personal data; the right to request restriction of processing of personal data; the right to data portability; the right to object to the processing of personal data, including profiling; the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data; and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
  7. Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or international organisations: Your personal data will not be transferred outside the EEA or to international organizations.
  8. Entrustment of data processing: Your personal data in the form of recorded image, obtained using technical means enabling image recording and monitoring of access to rooms at the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra, will be processed by an external entity currently providing security services for the facility under a concluded agreement, to which such data processing has been entrusted.
